Shared Captive

The captive model of sourcing or shared services consolidates dispersed resources performing similar functions within one or more centers owned by the organization. They serve various internal customers with similar requirements. The shared services center (SSC) is the internal service provider for the business. This type of model works for its parent organization as well as external consumers. This is a possible revenue generator and a cost-sharing vehicle for the parent organization.
